HOST: Bocal Majority

BocalMajority is a double reed camp for oboes and bassoons - led by some of the bestin the profession. Major benefit to our school, students

Benefitto our school:

·Holddouble reed camp that is convenient forCFBISDstudentsto attend.

·Hostschool students attend for free(I would even bewilling to extend this for all of CFBISD which is unprecedented!).

·In addition to this being great formiddle school students, we also have special guest professors from all over thecountry come in to work with the top-level high school students (all statelevel, advanced, etc...).

·Banddirectors may come observe for free.

Whatwe request:

·1-2larger rooms (band hall, choir room, orchestra room, cafeteria, for example).

·1room where staff performances and the final student performance can take place(auditorium, cafetorium, band hall are all possibilities).

·Approximately10 classrooms (can be regular classrooms or rooms in your fine arts wing) - bigenough to hold about 6 people plus instruments.

·10tables

·60chairs and stands (plus more chairs for the performance on the last day)

·Accessto the building from about 8:45am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday of the campand also from 12:30 to 5:30pm on the Sunday right before camp for setup.

·ACSunday through Thursday (sometimes Sunday is just not possible and that issomething we can work around if need be)

Campdates are June15-18with setup andmeeting day June 14. Here is how that works:setup day is Sunday, June14thfrom12:30 to 5:30pm (AC is much appreciated if possible). Camp is Monday June15ththrough Thursday June18th.
