• Emphasize drum major role as lead communicators, role models, and standard-bearers

II.Expectations & Responsibilities

• Daily inspection procedures during summer band and fall
• Drum major rehearsal responsibilities (logistics, set-up, met responsibilities, clean-up)
• Conducting expectations & repertoire prep
• Accountability: Supporting section leaders, crews, captains, and follow-through
• Professionalism: Leading with consistency in words, actions, and integrity

• Attendance expectations & how to handle student absences
• Being the "first eyes and ears" for students in need of help or off-track
